NOTE:
Our newsletters & website updates have been infrequent over the last several months. We're not sure yet how or if these will continue, however recently several items have been sent to us, and we have received a number of new subscription requests. So, this is the first ot 2 newsletters we'll send out in the next week. This one contains information about an upcoming Ward 13 All-Candidates meeting, so we wanted to send this off now.

Stay tuned for the next issue...

1. CITY COUNCIL ELECTION
This is shaping up to be the most interesting election in a long time. 5 major -- depending on your interpretation -- mayoralty candidates, and a possibility that up to 25% of the new council could be newcomers --  including Wards 13 & 14 - plus the neighbouring Ward 6 in Etobicoke. For election details, see the city's election website:
http://www.toronto.ca/elections/index.htm

The final lists of council candidates:
Ward 13:

Margo Duncan
Carol Jamieson
Stan Kumorek
Caryl Manning
Bill Saundercook

Ward 14
